There's no place like Hawaii. Everyone says it. Everyone means it. From the remote beaches to the active lava flows, nothing really does beat this rock in the middle of the Pacific.
Now this isn’t my first trip to Hawaii and it won’t be my last. And I know what you’re thinking…How boring and stereotypical, white girl in Hawaii how original! (You know who you are) But, Hawaii, much like any other place in the world is what you make of it. Roman and I had countless adventures, diving into that Hi Life and seeing where we ended up.
First things first I want to touch base on our beautiful accommodation. The Hilton Waikoloa Village was nothing short of perfection. We stayed in the Makai rooms, which we would highly suggest. It’s basically a litter more high end but you get access to more amenities and have have private pool area. We didn’t know this booking it, but this was a pleasant surprise. Our room was MASSIVE! Beautiful his and her sinks and a large king size bed. Nothing short of Hilton service as per usual as well. Now let’s get down to some nitty gritty highlights.
The highlight: The Legends of Hawaii Luau. - Free dranks, delicious food (Yes, even for vegetarians) and some of the best entertainment I’ve ever seen. If you want a night of being treated like royalty while watching some of the best dancers on the island, this is THE PLACE TO BE!
